Two years ago,
my sister faced a health setback that led to her gaining an additional 40 kilograms. Witnessing her health struggles and her determination to regain her well-being deeply inspired me to take my own health more seriously. I began hitting the gym regularly and paying closer attention to my diet. To my delight, my sister noticed my commitment and decided to join me on this health journey.
Our gym sessions together quickly became a source of enjoyment and bonding. However, one afternoon, as we ventured into a gym clothing store, our excitement turned into disappointment. My sister, who now had a larger frame, struggled to find training clothing that fit properly and provided the necessary support. It was disheartening to see her so discouraged by the lack of suitable options, and it made her resentful of her training routine.
The real issue became clear: my sister had been struggling for a while to find workout clothing that adequately supported her, especially in the abdominal area, a crucial factor for her comfort during training. She also desired high-quality activewear that didn't compromise on style. Determined to help her and others facing similar challenges, I embarked on a mission.
Over the course of 18 months, I delved into extensive research, explored numerous material samples, and meticulously crafted designs. The goal was clear—to create training clothing that would not only offer exceptional support but also look stylish.
It was a labor of love and dedication, and out of this journey, Lorka Gear was born.
